Guide Background
Strong Acid is crafted with a Processor, and the easiest route uses two Necrolases. If you do not have the Processor yet, you will need to obtain it first before you can make the recipe.
There is also an alternate recipe: one Sulfur and one Gold. If you already have those materials, you can use that path instead.
Operation Steps
Step 1: Head north from the Lifepod
Start at the Lifepod and travel roughly north at about 345 degrees.
Step 2: Look for the purple plant area
Watch for the purple plants with tentacle-like growths. Necrolases spawn in this area, and the plants regenerate, so you can return and harvest them again later.
Step 3: Collect two Necrolases
Search within the purple plant zone until you find enough Necrolases for the recipe.
Step 4: Open the Processor and choose the recipe
Interact with the Processor, then use the recipe change option at the bottom to select Strong Acid.
Step 5: Load the materials and craft
Insert the two Necrolases and start the craft. The process takes 30 seconds.
Step 6: Collect the output
When crafting finishes, open the output slot on the right side of the Processor and take the Strong Acid.
Important Items
Processor
Required to craft Strong Acid. Without it, the recipe cannot be completed.
Necrolases
Main ingredient for the easiest Strong Acid recipe. Two are needed for one craft.
Sulfur and Gold
Alternative recipe materials if you do not want to use Necrolases.
Purple Plant Area
The search zone north of the Lifepod where Necrolases spawn.
Key Notes and Tips
- Stay within the specific purple tentacle plant area; the material appears there rather than in the general surrounding biome.
- The plants regenerate, so this is a repeatable farming spot.
- If the default recipe is not showing, use the change recipe option at the bottom of the Processor menu.
- Strong Acid takes 30 seconds to complete once the materials are loaded.
Tips and Tricks
- If you are missing the Processor, get that sorted first before traveling for materials.
- The northward heading from the Lifepod makes the route easy to repeat if you need more Strong Acid later.
- Keep an eye on the right-side output slot after crafting so you do not leave the finished item behind.
Summary
Head north from the Lifepod, gather two Necrolases from the purple plant zone, load them into a Processor, and wait 30 seconds for Strong Acid. If needed, the Sulfur-and-Gold recipe is also available.
